Emmanuel Lutheran Congregation Council
The Emmanuel Lutheran Church Congregation Council has general oversight of the life and activities of the congregation and its respective ministries, helping ensure that everything is accomplished in accordance with the Word of God and the faith and practice of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. All organizational programs, including Laurel Hall and its activities, are under the oversight of the Congregation Council.
Emmanuel Lutheran Foundation (ELF) Laurel Hall Student Scholarship The Emmanuel Lutheran Foundation is pleased to announce that it has a limited number of needs
based scholarships to award to deserving Laurel Hall Students. Applications are being received for the 2026-2027 Laurel Hall academic year. The Tina Overton Brende, Eames Family, and Foundation Board Scholarship Funds were established to provide tuition assistance for Laurel Hall students. These scholarships are not open to Emmanuel/Laurel Hall staff families and scholarships may not be combined with Laurel Hall financial aid.
Emmanuel Lutheran Foundation (ELF) Grant The Emmanuel Lutheran Foundation supports recognized ministries of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, North Hollywood and Laurel Hall School projects. The Trustees award grants as funding becomes available. In the event a project is not funded, it should not be interpreted that the project is without merit. Communication Policy and Formal Concern Report
There are many ways for parents to communicate with teachers and school and church leaders when they have a question, want to make a suggestion, or raise a concern. The Emmanuel Lutheran Church Council provides the two documents here as one path for communicating your concerns.
Our hope is that this helps foster the well-being of all who are part of our community while encouraging respect, timeliness, fairness, and efficiency.
